Vocal Training Requires A Commitment from Both Client & Teacher: 
The intellectual, emotional,  financial and time  commitment provides a foundation of consistency and safety within which we can work; the voice is able to develop technically, emotionally and artistically.  Every three months, client's clarify their goals for the next period and sign new contracts.

Attendance:
In any three month period there is one week off for the client.  Laurece travels approximately every six weeks.  Often she is available for phone lessons that week. For touring vocalists, additional vacations or illness, missed lessons can be made up by taking two lessons within a week, extending lessons to make up the time, or by taking phone lessons.

Phone Lessons:
Laurece regularly works with touring and traveling clients by phone, thus maintaining vocal progress and consistency.  It is enjoyable and surprisingly effective.  Phone lessons are recorded.  Vocalists may receive their tape at the next lesson or by mail.  Supply Laurece with cassettes or purchase one from her for $1.50.  Mailings are $5.00 (includes cassette, package & postage.)

Cancellations:
All lesson fees are non-refundable.  Cancelled exploratory lessons are good for make-up within six months.  Continuing vocalist's lessons are to be taken within the scheduled three month period.

Please give Laurece as much notice as possible when rescheduling a lesson since that time is reserved especially for you.  If you suspect you may be sick on the day of your lesson, and certainly if you are contagious, please cancel several days ahead.  Be sure to cancel by phone, 413-229-7731.  Only phone cancellations are accepted.  If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, the lesson fee is forfeited; so take care of yourself by planning ahead.  There may be the flexibility to see you at your regular lesson time if you are feeling better on that day.
